WHY PELKO?
Pelko first opened in 1977, manufacturing primarily school furniture and desks in Rathmines, Dublin. As often happens in business, opportunities presented themselves and within a short number of years Pelko were supplying a range of high-end chairs to business and organizations across Ireland. Today over 40 years later, Pelko has become a leading supplier of chairs and seating solutions to a wide range of sectors, including commercial, medical, the arts, government, industrial and restaurants.
Pelko has made its latest move to a larger premises in Ballymount Drive Dublin 12 in Jan 2019
Pelko has been supplying a vast range solutions to various project requirements.
As a manufacturer we have refurbished many lecture theatres including full refurbishment of 525 seats and backs at IT Blanchardstown in 2013. We also completed the full refurbishment of 122 retractable theatre seats at Microsoft in Sandyford also in 2013.
Recent new theatre seat installations included a 320 lecture seat solution with special tip up writing tablets at the Sutherland School of Law in UCD in 2014.

Auditorium/Lecture/Theatre Seating
We have designed, assembled and installed seating for major projects including the Wexford Opera House, Lime Tree Theatre in Limerick and more recently the Sutherland School of Law in UCD. The former were specifically designed to be in harmony with the acoustics of the room and meant that everything from the materials used to the layout of the seating had to be meticulously planned and tested. High-Risk Seating
As its name implies, high-risk seating is used in locations where special consideration needs to be taken into account for safety. Chairs with no sharp edges, very heavy unliftable chairs and non-flammable materials are ideally suited to prisons and psychiatric institutions. High-risk seating solutions are by their nature non-standard, so Pelko will work with you to define your exact needs and then deliver to spec and budget.
